Single-seat Fleet Update
Ahead of the 2024 season, we tested the demand for our single-seater gliders by mothballing EOD and leasing WW to two members, while leaving the Ka8 and 353 available for general use. These measures proved successful, with the active gliders accumulating more flight hours, helping to cover their maintenance and insurance costs without disadvantaging members.
For the upcoming season, we’ve decided to offer WW for lease again (March to October), and to offer EOD for sale to members (WW potential available if preferred). If demand for leasing is high, we may opt to lease EOD rather than sell it.
If interest in leasing is low and there is no member interest in purchasing EOD, we will consider advertising one of the Astirs on the open market.

The glider is available in its current condition, with a trailer, and is ready to fly.
No parachute included, but offers may be considered.

Astir CS77, G-CEWW – Available for Lease (March-October)
We are offering two leasing options:
Option 1: £300 per month, maintained and insured by the club.
Option 2: £100 per month, maintained by the club, insured by the pilots.
Both options include unlimited airtime. The monthly payment can be split between up to three members. Geraint and Tony leased WW last year and will be more than happy to talk to anyone about their own experience of leasing WW.
